Alysia Raycraft is a costume designer for both film, television and theatre having received an MFA in Costume Design from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts as well as an Artist in Residency in Costume Design at The New York City Ballet. Her undergraduate work was in Painting and Sculpture at the University of Texas at Austin with additional studies in Rome and Constiglione Fiorentino, Italy.
Alysia was a part of the puppet maintanence team for the original Broadway production of The Lion King- NY, and prior to that was the Make-up and Wardrobe Supervisor for Blue Man Group, NY. Her first years in the city she received a graduate Textile Surface Design degree from The Fashion Institute of Technology with additional studies in Illustration while working in the fashion and textile fields.
Recent projects are “The Sweet Life” (Directed by Rop Spera and Produced by Julie Lynn and Bonnie Curtis of Mockingbird Pictures), “The Leisure Class” (Written and Directed by Jason Mann and Produced by Adaptive Media HBO and covered for “Project Greenlight” HBO), “The Invitation” (Written by Matt Manfredi and Phil Hay and Directed by Karyn Kusama) and the American version of “The Office” from its 5th-9th and final season.
